More Tomato Ripening Problems

Nothing upsets a vegetable gardener more than not knowing there is a problem with his or her vegetables until it's too late. Tomatoes have an annoying way of not showing their problems until they start to ripen. All of a sudden cracking, splitting and discoloring start to manifest themselves. Can these problems be prevented or at least corrected? Many can. Here are some quick tips to surviving cracked fruits, green shoulders and blossom end rot of tomatoes.
