Planning for a Great Fall Garden
Friday July 1, 2005
Fall gardening may be the best of all worlds. There's no rush to get things planted and pruned, like in the spring. And the weather is pleasant enough to spend the day outside. Even the bugs are less of a pest. But to insure that you have a great fall garden, you need to get the fall bloomers in the ground a few months earlier. Make sure you have at least a few fall blooming perennials in your garden bed, some shrubs with fall interest and don't overlook ornamental grasses, which often peak for the fall garden.
